Barb, My Heart goes out to you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers - and remember when you told me that when someone you love passes to the next life, you gain a precious angel to watch over you from above. Remember that and hold it with you. See you soon Love, Jamie ~ Jamie Russell, Swanton

Mom, I know that you are at peace and in a beautiful place with people that love you as much as I do, but still I miss you. Every night you and I talked on the phone for at least 30 minutes to an hour and I miss your voice. Sometimes we really had nothing of any importance to say, but we managed to fill up your lonely evenings and having that time to listen to you and share my day with you was a great ending to each day for me. Thanks for being my Mom, Marcus' Grandmama, my teacher, and most of all, my friend. Always love you, Marlene.

To: My husband, Brother-in-laws, and Sister-in-laws. My heart goes out to each of you. I fully understand the pain and sorrow you are feeling. I am hoping to ease this for you a little. You are at the beginning of a new journey in life. I am 2 years into mine. I will not say it has gotten easier, but I have learned some things along the way. Your mom is truly at your side always. She is a part of each of you. I know several of you are struggling with the medical decisions that needed to be made along the way. Dennis had said to me "...with your mom it was different she was terminally ill." While this is a fact, it is also true that we are all terminally ill, as no one will live forever. Each of you gave your mother care, support and love this is the best you could possibly do. As you learn to live without her physical presence please take the time to feel her spirit within you. You feel this in the love of your hearts and in the thoughts in your mind as you know what she would say, feel or do. I love each of you. Call me if you need me I am always here for you.
