Dear Wendee and kids and Pringle family,
I am an old classmate of Colin's from the Essex school system and heard about your loss through my parents who still live in Essex. I wanted to pass along my heartfelt sympathy and happy memories of Colin to all of you. I can't imagine losing a husband or a father or a son. I grieve with you. And yet I also want to celebrate Colin's life by remembering him for the likable, funny, thoughtful, gentle and kind kid that he was all the years I knew him, from first grade through high school. I'm sure his life has impacted you all in positive ways, and I pray that you can hold on to this even as you learn to let him go. I pray that you would be comforted by God in this difficult time and that you would find solace in the truth of His Word and in the love of other family and friends and believers in Jesus Christ.
Grace and peace,
Cathy (Pierce) Lindsay

I recently moved back to Vermont and attended Essex Alliance and heard of your loss. I am so sorry. It has been quite some time since I have seen the both of you but from what I do remember of Colin, he was a sweet, caring person with a great outlook on life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your children. I am sure he is looking down on all of you with great love. May god give you the strength you need to get through this time. Love, Lauren

Hi Wendee, Anna and Ethan,
Among my memories of being with you all, one of my favorites has been the July 3rd party that Mark and Ric throw every year from a hotel room overlooking Lake Champlain. It’s a great view for the Burlington fireworks. The four of you there, with other family and friends of Ric and Mark, all of us gathered into one room to watch the fireworks. We all have snacks and drinks and inevitably Colin and Wendee and Anna and Ethan end up in the hotel pool for a swim and splash before the fireworks begin. I remember the fun you’d all have in the pool and then come back up to the party room still dripping a bit. Then we settle in and wait for the fireworks to begin, either Anna or Ethan in Colin’s lap. The anticipation and excitement is always high for a great fireworks show and we have never been disappointed. Colin always had some of the most vocal oooooooohs and aaaaaaaahs as we all watched the fireworks display from the hotel room. While so sad and missing Colin very much, these will be very happy memories for me. All my love to you, Wendee and Anna and Ethan. Love, Paul

Colin was a friend to everyone he met. We have suffered a terrible loss. I pray for his peace and now strength for his family.
Wendee, Anna, and Ethan Pringle, i send you my deepest sympathies. A great man left us all to early this time, I will always remember him as the happy and good man he was. I am honored, that I got to spend some time with him and the family all together before he past away.
