Colin T. Pringle Essex Jct. Colin Taggart Pringle, went to be with the angels on Friday October 24, 2008. Born on December 16, 1971 he grew up with his parents and three brothers in Essex. Colin met his soul mate, Wendee Iverson, in high school when he was a junior. They started dating in 1989 and have been best of friends and in love for 19 years. The majority of their lives has been spent together. His greatest joy was spending time with his family especially watching his precious children grow and become wonderful, happy little people. Colin dedicated his life to being the best husband, father, brother, and son possible. Colin greatly appreciated and enjoyed nature. His favorite activity was working in the yard in the sun with Anna as his assistant. He loved all four legged creatures, especially the family cats Simba and Quabbin. Colin was a gentle spirit that always embraced simplicity and serenity. He was extraordinarily compassionate and loving. He always had everyone else’s interest at heart and would never intentionally cause anyone pain. He loved and was loved by all. Colin would want everyone to be at peace with his passing and know that he will always be here in spirit. Colin is survived by his beloved wife and soul mate Wendee Iverson Pringle; his adored children, Anna and Ethan; his parents Jon and Susan (Taggart) Pringle of Essex; his brother Gregory William Pringle and his wife, Kristen and their daughters, Audrey and Bridget of Hingham, MA; his father-in-law Harry Iverson; and many other relatives. He was predeceased by his brothers Jon Steven Pringle and Andrew Scot Pringle; his maternal and paternal grandparents whom he spent a great deal of time with and was greatly influenced by; and his mother-in-law, Janice Iverson. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 28th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Essex Alliance Church. Funeral services will be held at Essex Alliance Church on Wednesday, October 29th at 10 a.m. Burial and reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for Anna and Ethan’s college fund to Jon and Susan Pringle, 3 Woodlawn Dr, Essex Jct., VT 05452.
