Doris M. (Provost) Robideau Bolin Winooski Doris Marie (Provost) Robideau Bolin, 88, passed away on June 30, 2012 at Birchwood Nursing Home in Burlington. She was born on June 10, 1924 daughter of the late Alfred and Yvonne (Pecor) Provost. Doris loved life, people and enjoyed volunteering at the local charities and The Claremont Senior Center in NH. She loved playing Bingo, Love Story Novels and the old Shirley Temple movies. Our mom loved children, she was the neighborhood mom growing up and as a grandmother enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren who brought great joy to her life. Our Dot will be greatly missed. She is survived by: Three sons: Louis Robideau and wife Catherine of Colchester; Earl Bolin Jr. and Fiancé Carol of Bradford; Edward Bolin of Bristol; Three daughters: Carol Hogaboom and husband Gary of Colchester; Barbara Berry of Bristol; Chery L. Gebeault and husband Steve of Bristol; A daughter-in-law Linda Robideau of TN; Two sisters Alberta Reel and husband George of Turner Falls, MA; Jeannette LeDuc and husband Roger of Franklin; Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also predeceased by: Her husbands Matty Robideau and Earl E. Bolin Sr.; her son Francis J. Robideau; her daughter Patricia Burdette; two brothers: Francis and George Provost; three sisters: Irene Decoteau; Anita Hathaway; Theresa DesMarais. Special thanks to The Nurses at Birchwood, who took special care of our Mom and to a special caregiver and friend Gail Hance. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday July 5, 2012 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at A. W. Rich Funeral Home – Essex Chapel. Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
