Dorothea I. (Schlesler) Spain South Burlington Dorothea Irine (Schlesler) Spain, 84, passed away on Tuesday May 15, 2012 at Vermont Respite House. She was born on February 25, 1928 in Bayonne, NJ daughter of the late Charles and Cecilia (Witt) Schlesler growing up in Hudson County, NJ. She was married to Joseph Spain who has also predeceased her. She lived in Moonachie, NJ until moving to Vermont in 1996. Her six children and their spouses survive her: Bruce Spain and Mary Ruffel; Susan and Bill Fourgerel; Craig and Gail Spain; Roger and Lynn Spain; Brian Spain and Janet Nathan; David Spain; Dr. Jane Jager; seven grandchildren: Christopher, Christina, Jason, Peter and Gregg Spain; Christina and Jacquline Fourgerel; There will be no visiting hours or funeral services held.
