Frances Horner

Frances A. Horner Richford Frances Anne Horner, 72, passed away on Wednesday August 17, 2016 surrounded by her loving children at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans. She was born on December 18, 1943 daughter of the late Howard and Lillian (Utter) Horner. Frances enjoyed country music, bingo, watching cars go bye from the porch and especially spending time with her family. She is survived by two sons Wilfred Sheltra of Auburn, NY; Steven Sheltra of Lowell; seven daughters Deborah Tefft of Tully, NY; Bernadette Sheltra of Newport Center, Elizabeth Sheltra of Newport, Mary Sheltra of Essex, Pamela O’Hara of Sennett, NY; Georgiana Halbach and husband Eric of Swanton; Kimberly Sears and husband Carl of Newport, four siblings James Horner, Alan Horner, Joleen Horner, Lori Parks, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Frances was also predeceased by her siblings Connie Richards, Nancy Horner and Edwin Horner. Per her wishes there will be no public visiting hours held. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 20, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Cambridge with Reverend Christopher Micale officiating. Burial will follow in the family lot in Mountain View Cemetery, Cambridge. Memorial contributions may be made to assist the family with final expenses, payable to Pamela O’Hara, care of A W Rich Funeral Home, 1176 Main Street, Fairfax, VT 05454.
