Gary T. Rich Fairfield Gary Thomas Rich passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born on June 28, 1946, in St. Albans, Vermont, son of the late Warren C. and Georgette (Kimmell) Rich. Gary enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing cards, trips to the casino, and gardening. Gary is survived by his son Travis Rich, currently residing in Florida, his sister Linda S. Ward and husband Henry E. Ward of Milton, brothers Ronald Rich of Swanton, and Warren A. Rich and wife Sheila Rich of New Hampshire, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Gary was predeceased by his parents, Warren and Georgette, a sister Karen (Rich) King, and longtime companion Joy. Honoring Gary’s wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gary’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 55 Day Lane, Williston, VT 05495-1460.
