Gloria J. (Forsey) Garrapy Underhill Gloria Jean Garrapy, 68 passed away in Underhill January 2, 2014 after a long illness surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Burlington, VT on August 21, 1945, daughter of the late George and Virginia (Atherton) Forsey. Gloria Graduated from Essex High School in 1964. Gloria was an Underhill resident for over 40 years. Gloria enjoyed caring for others and became a LNA and provided care to the elderly till her retirement in 2010. She was a long time member of the Jeffersonville Eagles Club #3210. She enjoyed watching wildlife in her backyard, being with nature and spending time with her long time companion Norm Vandervort who passed away in 1992. The most joy came from spending time with her family. Gloria leaves behind her daughter Christine of Jericho, her son Bruce and his wife Wendy of Underhill, her granddaughter Casey, and grandsons Colby, Maxwell and Cayden. Her brother George and his wife Phyllis Forsey of Westford, her sister Molly Page of Essex Jct.; she is predeceased by her brother Dan Forsey and sister Anne Widrig of MI. She also leaves behind many friends, nieces and nephews that she cared for dearly. Per the request of Gloria there will be no public funeral services. A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held this summer at the family’s home. The family would like to thank the amazing care given to Gloria from Dr. Rabin and the VNA.
