Heather Geraw

Heather M. Geraw Burlington/Lecanto, FL Heather Melissa Geraw, 31 passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2012 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. She was born on March 28, 1981 in Burlington, VT daughter of John Geraw and Janice Oscarson. Heather was a graduate of Burlington High School. She loved her family and animals dearly, enjoyed listening to music especially rap music. Heather looked forward to days at the beach swimming, enjoying all the fast rides at amusements parks, barbeques as well as eating out in restaurants and the annual fairs where she could spend joyful times with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all of her friends in Florida and Vermont who truly loved her. She is survived by: her father John Geraw of Lecanto, FL; her mother Janice Oscarson of Burlington; paternal grandparents: Ethan Geraw of Williston; Anna Mudgett and husband Earl of Williston; her sister Jennifer Geraw of Hinesburg; a very special beloved niece Kaitlyn Lavigne of Hinesburg; many aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends including her best friend Bruce Morgan of Orleans and her beloved dog “Taffy”. She was predeceased by her paternal great grandparents Hazel and Louis Badger, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Geraw maternal grandparents Cecil and Alice Oscarson and her Great Uncle Paul Badger. Visiting hours will be held on Friday August 3, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at A. W. Rich Funeral Home – Essex Chapel, 57 Main Street, Essex Jct., VT 05452. A funeral service will be held at the Winooski United Methodist Church on Saturday August 4, 2012 at 12:00 pm with Pastor Bonnie Hovermann officiating. A luncheon will follow the funeral service at the church. Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
