Hollis “Jack” Longe Jeffersonville Hollis “Jack” Longe passed away at his home in Jeffersonville at the age of 56 on May 18, 2010. Jack is survived by his adored wife, Judy, of 38 years. He was the beloved father of two children; son Brian Longe, his wife Missy and daughter Denise Cote, her husband Pete; the dearly loved grandfather to Dylan, Amber, Kaleb, Stephanie and Crysta. He is survived by his mother Blossom (Edwards) Longe; Two brothers: Robert Longe, his wife Patty and Dennis Longe, his wife Judy; Three sisters: Betty Cyko, Sherrie Melton, her husband Bob and Barb Longe; many beloved nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. His many dear friends, Greg and Dawn Tatro and the G.W. Construction family. He was born on November 6, 1953 in Burlington, VT to Blossom (Edwards) Longe and the late Douglas Longe. Jack and his wife Judy (Cushing) were married on November 27, 1971 in Jeffersonville and started a lifelong journey of love and devotion. He was devoted to his family and friends. A man of great talent and humor, Jack spent the majority of his career as an Excavator Operator with G.W Tatro Construction. He built quite a few ski trails in VT, NH, PA and NY. He may be gone, but his presence, talent, humor and wit will never be forgotten. There will be no visiting hours held. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 at the Second Congregational Church in Jeffersonville at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Lynda Hadley officiating.
