Jean Crisp Fairfax, Vermont Obituary

Jean Crisp

Jean Ann Crisp 1926-2013 On a rainy afternoon on the 10th of November Jean Crisp left this world at the age of eighty-seven for her next adventure. A few minutes later a spectacular orange sun brightened the rainy sky. As the sun set in the west, we said good-bye to a mother, wife and friend who made our lives special. Jean leaves her husband of sixty-eight years, Lon Crisp, and three children, Leslie Martin, Nicholas Crisp and Jennifer Sweet as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She lived for many years in Vermont and most recently in Cambridge. Jean was the only child of Roger and Helen Farrell of Johnson who years ago had a little antique shop on Foote Brook. She had a wide variety of interests and a wacky sense of humor. Jean enjoyed trips to the ocean from Maine to Florida, but she always called the green mountains of Vermont “home”. A private memorial service will be held by the family next summer. Words of condolences may be sent to the A. W. Rich Funeral Home website. To her friends at the Manor in Morrisville – remember “Cootchy-Coo” whenever you see a glowing orange sunset.
