John Alexander Griffin, 53, passed away at his home in Essex Junction on Sunday April 2, 2017. He was born in Burlington on November 17, 1963 son of the late Earl Stanley and Hilda Margaret (Bergeron) Griffin. Although John was limited with what he could do beucase of his illness he spent much of his time at home. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends whether it be at their place or his or simply by a phone call. He loved watching old western movies and had quite an impressive movie collection to prove it. He is survived by his longtime girlfriend Maryann Hazen of Essex Junction, his sister Vanessa St. Amour and Joseph of Winooski, three brothers Stanly Griffin and wife Gigi of South Burlington, William Griffin of Burlington, Wayne Griffin and wife Nora of Burlington, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to give a special thank you to Vince. Per John’s wishes there will be no public services held.
