John Lee Machia, 54, of North Haverhill, NH passed away at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital in New Hampshire on December 14, 2017. He was born September 26, 1963 to Donald and Sandra Machia of Waterville, VT. John attended Waterville and Lamoille Union High School in Hyde Park. John married Stacie Stockwell in Waterville in 1992 and they have 3 children. John was employed by Northwoods Excavating of Thetford, VT. John enjoyed being with his family, fishing, construction and playing on his tablet. He is survived by his parents and brothers Ricky, David and James of Waterville. His wife Stacie and 3 children Heather, Jeremy and Ashley all of North Haverhill, NH and his father-in-law Ellis Stockwell, sister-in-law Denise Herman and her husband Scott, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Visiting hours will be Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at A W Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel, 1176 Main Street, Fairfax, VT 05454.
