Karen Kay (Koch) Nolan Alburgh Karen Kay Nolan, 49, passed away at her home in Alburgh on Saturday, May 16, 2015 surrounded by her loving family She was born San Antonio, TX on January 26, 1966 daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Root) Koch. Karen married Robert Nolan on September 16th , 2000 They began their life together combining their 5 children and became one busy, happy family . Through the years one by one the children grew and left the nest .. Rob and Karen were soon blessed with grandchildren and new joys in their lives enjoying the family events more and more with each new birth. Karen attended Colchester High School. In later years she received her LNA license and worked in the health care profession for many years . Karen enjoyed camping , fishing . Hunting Dancing , and precious time doing everything she could with her husband and family and their many friends. Karen brought love and joy to all who knew her. We will all miss her so very much.. Karen is survived by her husband Robert H. Nolan, a son Justin Pellerin of New Haven Vermont, 4 daughters Kristin Verchereau of Alburgh, Amy Verchereau of Alburgh, Amber Pellerin of New Haven, Mariah Nolan of Alburgh, two brothers Robert Koch Jr. and wife Jean of Bristol, David Koch of Plattsburg, NY, 4 sisters Elizabeth Wright and husband Robert of Allen, TX, Patricia Potts of Alburgh, Debra Palmer and husband Michael of Chesepeak, VA, Dawn Paronto and husband J.P. of Saranac, NY, 4 grandchildren Kayli Bessett; Ariana Pellerin, Noah Tuure, And Trey Corriveau . many nieces, nephews, cousins and Karen’s two special baby dogs Ema & Sophie. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday May 19, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at A W Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel, 1176 Main St., Fairfax, VT 05454. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Essex Alliance Church with Pastor Joe Moore officiating. Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
