Larry Wells, 63, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2016. He was born October 8, 1952, in Montpelier, the son of Wayne and Joan Wells. Larry was an ordained Patriarch with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was a free spirit who loved America and enjoyed the outdoors. He was never anywhere long but when you did find him he was usually tinkering on an old car, motorcycle, tractor, or machine of some sort. He had such a love for animals, with dogs and cats being his closest friends, and he was always willing to contribute to support America's wild life. Larry was predeceased by his wife Anita and is survived by 6 children: Nicole Belknap and husband Brad of Waitsfield, VT; Sean Wells and wife Kayla of Malta, NY; Rhiannon Fitzpatrick and husband William of Albany, NY; Kristopher Wells of Chelsea, VT; Asia Wells of Machias, Maine; and Sierra Wells of Planefield, VT; as well as several nieces, nephews, grandchildren. He was also one of five children: Vicki McLaughlin and husband Kevin of West Bolton, VT; Diane Heath and David of Largo, FL; Melvin Wells and Lois of Morrisville, VT; and Wanda Chamberland and husband Raymond of Jericho, VT. A memorial service will be held at 1p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016, at Living Hope Wesleyan Church, located at 5793 Waterbury-Stowe Rd, Waterbury Center, VT 05677.
