Lillian B. (Lovelette) Wilde Essex Junction Lillian Beth Wilde, age 88, passed away Monday morning September 2, 2013, at her home in Essex Junction, Vermont with her daughter Kathleen at her bedside. Beth was born in Richford Vermont on the 21st of October, 1924. She graduated from Richford High School in 1942. She was the daughter of Marshall and Susan (Thompson) Lovelette and one of six Lovelette children. She was predeceased by her husband James Wilde and her brothers Dick, Charles, and Fred. Beth is survived by her brother Neill and sister Jane, her daughter Kathleen and sons Peter and William Charles, Grandchildren Tynan, Ethan, Jessica, Alex and Marshall and her beautiful great grand children Ethan, Caden, Eliza and Rylan. She married James Hunter Wilde and raised her family in Red Bank New Jersey and Tampa, Florida. In 1974, she moved to Colorado where she worked as an accountant for an environmental engineering company in Fort Collins. She retired to Greensboro, North Carolina where she lived until her husband died in 1999. Following the death of her husband, she returned to Vermont to live with her daughter and son-in-law in Jeffersonville and Essex Junction. When the Town Meadow Senior Living Facility was built in Essex Junction, she became their first resident. She lived there independently until she passed away. Beth was an avid gardener who could grow anything and was often the recipient of ailing plants that would flourish under her care. She was blessed with a native Vermonter’s common sense and humor and was a warm and loving person who made friends easily. She was a member of the Saint Pius Church in Essex Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday September 7 at 1:00 PM at Saint Pius X Catholic Church, 20 Jericho Road (Route 15) in Essex Junction followed immediately at 2:30 PM by a reception at Town Meadows Senior Living on 22 Carmichael Street in Essex Junction. Beth will be laid to rest in Greensboro, North Carolina next to her husband James. Friends and family are invited to celebrate the life of a very special woman.
