Lucienne A. “Lucy” (Bouchard) Trahan Essex Jct. Lucienne Angelina “Lucy” Trahan, 96, passed away on Monday February 13, 2012 at Green Mountain Nursing Home in Colchester. She was born on November 13, 1915 in Champlain, NY to the late Domina and Adele (Maltais) Bouchard. She married her husband Conald Trahan on May 5, 1947 in St. Louis Church Highgate Center, VT. She had been employed as a sales clerk by M. H. Fishman’s in St. Albans, VT from 1950 – 1971 and then Style Shop on Church St. in Burlington from 1971 to 1980. She is survived by: Her loving husband of 64 years Conald Trahan of Essex Jct.; her daughter Marie Annette Greenia and husband Larry of Grandview, TX; three grandchildren: Mark Greenia and wife Susan; Brian Greenia; Suzanne Greenia; three great grandchildren: Joshua Greenia; Katelin Greenia; Nicholas Greenia; many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her eight brothers and a sister. As per Lucy’s wishes there will be no public visiting hours held. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday February 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church in Essex Jct., with Reverend Charles Ranges S.S.E officiating. Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Lucy’s memory may be made to Holy Family Parish Hall Fund, 4 Prospect Street, Essex Jct., VT 05452.
