Lynne M. (LaFountain) Duffy Belvidere Lynne Marcelle (LaFountain) Duffy, 75 passed away on Friday May 3, 2013 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. She was born on September 16, 1937 in Morrisville, VT daughter of the late Guy and Opal (Burt) LaFountain. She had worked for many years in the cafeteria at the Williston Central School. Lynne loved going to garage sales and shopping locally. She enjoyed crocheting and had made many wonderful and treasured gifts over the years. Her cats held a special place in her heart but spending time and watching her grandchildren grow was the greatest love of all. Lynne will be greatly missed by many family and friends who truly loved her. She is survived by her son Steven Duffy and wife Martha of Belvidere; three daughters Linda Duffy of Eden; Barbara Lavigne of Tennessee; Laurie Germaine and husband Robert Sr. of Williston; two brothers Brent LaFountain and wife Jan of Waterville; Dereck LaFountain and wife Edna of Waterville; her sister Kay Ingalls of Eden; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her husband Francis Duffy on January 17, 2000. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday May 9, 2013 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at A. W. Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel, 1176 Main Street, Fairfax, VT 05454. Funeral services will be held on Friday May, 10, 2013 at the Waterville Union Church at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Heidi Reinker officiating. Burial will follow in the family lot in Mountain View Cemetery, Waterville.
