Margaret (Cain) Webb Fairfax Margaret C. Webb, 92, died on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Northwestern Medical Center. She was born on August 29, 1923 the daughter of the late Henry S. and Margaret "Mae" (Adams) Cain. She grew up in Fairfield and graduated from Milton High School and the St. Albans Hospital School of Nursing. She married Arthur W. Webb on November 15, 1944 at the United Church in Fairfax and they were married for over 70 years. They were a well known dairy farming family in Fairfax and he predeceased her on May 30, 2015. She was a member of Fairfax Grange #525 and the Eastern Stars, Unity Chapter #17. Our mother volunteered in the community for various fundraisers and suppers. Most of all, she was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker, grandmother, great grandmother and loved to spend time with family and friends. She was an amazing seamstress and cook and we will miss the homemade rolls, pies, cakes and doughnuts. Most of all she loved hosting family events, her door was always open and she had a kind and sweet soul. She is survived by her children, Diane Morrissette in Essex Junction, Judy Beaudry, Ronald and Bonnie, and Jeffrey and Louise Webb of Fairfax and Larry Webb and partner Judy Dimick of Georgia, brother-in-law George and Beverly Kemp and cousin-in-law Frena Phillips, her cousin Charlotte and husband Lyle Jacobs , seven grandchildren, James Morrissette, Neil and Wyatt Beaudry, Jonathan Webb, Courtney and Lindsey Webb, Katie and Tim Bessette, seven great grandchildren, Logan, Levi, Avery, Lenick, Aubrey, Autumn and Cassidy, along with many nieces, nephews and her dog Molly. She was also predeceased by her husband, grandson, Ryan Webb, her sister and husband, Barbara and Lester Wakefield and brother and wife, Frank and Gene Cain, brother- in- law Herbert and his wife Jessie Webb, her 2 sister- in-Laws, Mabel and husband Ferdinand Benoit, and Phyllis and husband Walter Maxfield. Our family wishes to express it's thanks to Our Lady of the Meadows, in Richford, for the wonderful care that she received for 2 years, Franklin County Rehabilitation Center and to the staff, nurses and doctors at Northwestern Medical Center, that helped us through this journey. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday February 28, 2016 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at A W Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel, 1176 Main St. Fairfax, VT 05454. Funeral services will be on Monday February 29, 2016 1:00 p.m. at the United Church of Fairfax.
