Maria G. (Cassano) Greer Essex, Vermont Maria Grace (Cassano) Greer, 51 went to be with our Lord on July 12, 2012. She was born on June 10, 1961 in Brooklyn, NY beloved daughter of Dom and Amy Cassano. She spent her childhood in Brandon, Fl was a graduate of Nativity Catholic School, Brandon High Class of 1979 and the University of Tampa Class of 1983. She has lived in beautiful Essex, Vermont for the past 2 years. Maria will be missed by all those who had the true pleasure to have known and loved her. She leaves her husband Scott and her three boys Evan, Brendan and Aidan of Essex, VT; parents: Dom and Amy Cassano of Brandon, FL; her brothers John of Brooklyn, NY; Paul and wife Gina of Asheville, NC; her sisters Christina Cassano and husband Alan Joseph of Minneapolis, MN; Claudia Brandon and husband Charles Phillips of FL; Monica Farmer and husband David of Cary, NC; her mother-in-law Mary Jane Greer; brother-in-law Jeff Greer; sister-in-law Christy Greer all of NC; Godfather Raymond Porcaro of Fl; Godmother Celia Sosnowski of NY; nieces and nephews: Alexander; Alec; Mira; Amy; Jensen; Nicolas; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is predeceased by her father-in-law Forrest Greer. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday July 17, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at A. W. Rich Funeral Home – Essex Chapel, 57 Main Street, Essex Jct., VT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, with Reverend Richard Tinney officiating.
