Marie L. Cota South Hero On December 7, 2014 the Lord gained another angel when Marie (Lynn) Cota, 28, passed away unexpectedly. She was born on October 23, 1986 in Burlington daughter of Timothy and Veronica (Woodard) Cota. Marie was clever, creative and always knew how to test the waters. She had a great zest for life and her greatest joy was her son Brian who was forever in her heart. She had a sunshine personality and always knew how to put a smile on your face. Rest in peace our dear Marie. She is survived by: Her son Brian Folks Jr. “Junior” of South Hero; her father and step-mother Timothy and Kelly Cota of South Hero; her mother Veronica Cota and partner Dennis of Washington State; maternal grandmother Thelma Haskins of Winooski; paternal grandfather Henry Cota and partner Jill of North Carolina; two brothers Timothy Cota of Swanton; Luke Sansone of Essex Junction; five sisters: Lisa Cota of Winooski; Brandi Goulet of South Hero; Shirley Cota and fiancé Deshaun Kirkland of Colchester; Megan Wescott and partner Brandon Brill of Burlington; Jessie Sansone of Burlington; Several nieces and nephews including: Isaiah; Dominik; Aaliyah; Kahvalli; Taniya; Harmony; Jordon; Kelsey; Kaylee; Kallie and several aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather Harold Haskins and paternal grandmother Shirley Cota. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday December 11, 2014 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at A W Rich Funeral Home – Essex Chapel, 57 Main St., Essex Jct., VT 05452.
