Marlene (Harvey) Dezotelle Waterville Marlene (Harvey) Dezotelle, 78 passed away Saturday January 11, 2014 at The Manor in Morrisville. She was born on September 16, 1935, daughter of the late Stanley and Hazel (Mashia) Harvey. Marlene graduated from Cambridge High School in 1953 and married Lloyd Dezotelle on November 6, 1954. Marlene was employed with local banks and the Lamoille North Supervisory Union school system. In her younger years she played an accordion and entertained her family often. Marlene was very family oriented and hosted many of the monthly family gatherings. She enjoyed watching all wildlife from her window. Her talents ranged from designing and painting a totem pole, painting with oils, gardening and playing board games to making maple syrup. She was very talented and enjoyed many other hobbies to numerous to mention. Marlene will be missed deeply by all whose lives she had touched. Marlene is survived by her sister Zona Bryce and husband Olin of Cambridge; many nieces, nephews and cousins including a special niece Diane Bettis and nephew Danny Dezotelle, her in-laws: Clayton Russell, George Desmarais, Suzanne Harvey-Safford and husband Steve, Verna and Wally Longe, Harold “Bud” and Rena Dezotelle, along with her neighbor Glendon McNally and her loving caregivers: Pamela Catudal, Judy Bushey and Joan Lamoge. She was also predeceased by her husband Lloyd Dezotelle, two brothers George Harvey, Stanley Harvey Jr., three sisters Beverly Russell, Katherine Desmarais, Zilda Maynard and her nephew David Russell. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Miller and the staff of The Manor for the loving care and attention administered during her stay. Respecting Marlene’s wishes there will be no public visiting hours or funeral services held. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in the family lot in Jeffersonville Village Cemetery in the Spring.
