Nicole Quintal Corey, age 74, a resident of Mansfield Place in Essex Jct. and formerly of Morrisville, VT passed away peacefully on June 15, 2016, after battling a serious long-term illness, at the Respite House in Williston, Vt. Nicole was born on December 8, 1941, the daughter of Francoise and Louis Quintal in Montreal, Canada. She was preceded in death by her husband John Corey of New Jersey. She is survived by her son Derek and daughters Christianne and Loretta. Also surviving are sisters: Danielle (Frank) Leibold of Roanoke, VA., Josee (Richard) Tomlinson of Morrisville, VT,, and Esther (Daniel) Boorse of Hoosick Falls, NY, and brothers: Sylvain (Jeannette) Quintal of Richmond, VT., Paul (Jacqueline) Quintal of Colchester, VT., and Michel Quintal of Rome, Italy. Long time friend Francine Perrault and many nieces and nephews, as well as, many cousins in Montreal, especially Carole, will forever remember her. Nicole was a business woman for many years in New Jersey. She was known for her generosity to many causes and people. She always had a smile and the ability to convey her joy for life to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by the many new friends she made at Mansfield Place, at the Respite House and in Morrisville and by all whose lives she touched. Per Nicole's request, her service will be a private family celebration of her life in Morrisville.
