Paul D. Coonley Essex Jct. Paul Dwight Coonley, 76 passed away on May 27, 2010 following a long and courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. Born in Albany, NY son of the late Frederick and Alma Coonley. Paul had graduated from Roessleville High School and served in the US Navy, assigned to a destroyer during the Korean War. He received a Batchelor of Science degree from Sienna College, a Masters Degree from State University of New York and pursued a long career in the insurance industry. Paul received numerous awards and placement in the Equitable Hall of Fame and the Million Dollar Round Table. He is survived by: His son Bruce Coonley and his fiancé Danielle Bryk; his grandson Gabe Coonley all of Schenectady, NY; His companion Sheila Lafreniere of Essex Jct.; nephew Ronald Coonley, Jr. of Alabama; numerous great nephews and great nieces. He is also predeceased by his stepfather John Krael; A brother Ronald Coonley and his wife Jean and the mother of his son Cartha Coonley. There will be no visiting hours.
