FRANKLIN - Philip Q. Tracy, age 81, passed away at the Franklin County Rehab Center in St. Albans on Sunday, September 28, 2014. He was born February 4, 1933, the son of Ralph and Marion (Quimby) Tracy. Philip served four years in the U.S. Army. He was formerly employed at Blue Seal Feeds Co. and the A&P Store in Richford, Vt. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family. He was a long time resident of Richford, and recently resided in Franklin, Vt. He is survived by his children, Darwin and his wife Sharon of Richford, Daniel of St. Albans, Brenda Goodhue of Richford, Paula and her husband James Mayhew of Richford, Carla and her husband Julian Desnoyers of St. Albans, Dennis and his wife Tina of Richford, June Forty of Burlington, his friend Lorraine Tracy of Franklin, sisters Jessie Marshia of Bakersfield and Donna Cickey of Connecticut, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Myrna (McNeill) Tracy, granddaughter Abby Mayhew, brothers Rupert Tracy and Burton Tracy. A private graveside service will be held at the Richford Center Cemetery in Richford, Vt.
