Raymond N. Foote Jeffersonville Raymond Newton Foote, 95 passed away at Copley Hospital in Morrisville on Saturday July 5, 2014. He was born on August 1, 1918 in Montgomery (Hill West), VT son of the late Charles B. and Bettie (Lumbra) Foote. He drove a pulpwood truck, retired from the State Highway Department in Colchester. After retirement he was a school bus driver in Cambridge which allowed him to take care of his wife until she passed away. Raymond is survived by his daughter Beverly Alice Clark and her husband Herbert of Williston; two grandsons Danny Ferland and his companion Dakota Brosseau of Jeffersonville; Ernest Leo Ferland Jr. and his wife Valeria and their 3 sons Ranford “Randy”, Reggie, Ricky and 4 adopted children all in North Carolina. He also leaves his best friend Elaine Badger of North Wolcott; many nieces, nephews and cousins all across the country. He is also predeceased by his wife Alice M. (Fullington) Foote on June 24, 1996, his sons Charles Earle, Raymond Newton, Rickards Anderson, daughter Audrey Ann Foote; his brothers and sisters Herbert Foote, Carlton Foote, Donald Foote, Annabelle Britch, Harold Foote, Evelyn Jewett, Beulah M. Jewett-Messier, Eurnice Foote Gullmette, Haley Foote, Credic Foote and his brother-in-law Forris Fullington. Per Raymond’s wishes no visiting hours will be held. A graveside service with inurnment will be held on Friday July 11, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the family lot in East Cambridge Cemetery, Route 15, Cambridge.
