Rita C. (Beaupre) Bean Essex Junction Rita Charlotte (Beaupre) Bean, 90, passed away on Thursday October 23, 2014 at her home in Essex Junction surrounded by her loving family. She was born in South Burlington on September 15, 1924 daughter of the late Telesphore and Alba (Quevillon) Beaupre. Rita married Leonard Bean at Holy Family Church on June 6, 1953. They lived in Burlington for a few years, then moved to Pearl Street in Essex Junction where they raised their family. Rita always loved children and in her later years spent many happy hours with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and the Christmas holidays. She is survived by her 6 children: Michael Bean and wife Donna; Steven Bean and wife Diann; Mary Ann Bean; Jeffrey Bean and wife Nancy; Jane Reny and husband Tim; Christopher Bean; her brother Leo Beaupre and wife Esther; a sister Thelma LaCroix; 8 grandchildren: Erin Sweeney and husband Keith; David Bean and wife Trista; Matt Bean and his fiancée Samantha Fried; Evan Bean; Eric Bean and girlfriend Sierra Gaudette; Sarah Stuhr and her husband Josh; Eric Godin; Amy Streeter and her Fiancé Ryan Osgood, 12 Great grandchildren: Kaleb; Trevor; Brody; Reanna; Keegan; Layla; Riley; Kyle; Kellin; Izabella; Nicolas and Makayla; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her husband Leonard on March 1, 2011 and her brother-in-law Roger LaCroix. Per Rita’s wishes there will be no visiting hours held. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday October 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Essex Jct. with Reverend Charles Ranges, S.S.E. officiating.
