Robert "Rob" S. Kinney Morrisville, VT/Cape Cod, MA Robert "Rob" Smith Kinney, 59 passed away at Copley Hospital in Morrisville on Saturday September 7, 2013 surrounded by his loving family following a short and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on March 10, 1954 in Burlington son of William and Nancy (Whitcomb) Kinney. Rob graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in printing technology. He went on to work in the printing industry for many years. Over the last 12 years he managed David's Cabinetree in Cape Cod, Mass. & also during the summers managed Mountain View Campground in Morrisville, VT Rob's latest passion was running the campground. He touched many lives with his daily interaction with their customers. He is survived by his life partner David Marceau; his parents William and Nancy (Whitcomb) Kinney; his sister Sue Kinney Wyckoff and husband Larry; his Uncle Jack Whitcomb and wife Bette; nieces Laura Kinney, Kristy Wyckoff; nephews Ben Wyckoff; Dan Wyckoff and his wife Shelby, a great niece Madison Wyckoff, several cousins and his cat "Kitty". Rob was predeceased by his brother John. The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Christie, Dr. Julie Olin, Dr. Patrick Keith and all the wonderful nurses and staff at Copley & Fletcher Allen. Per Rob’s wishes there will be no public visiting hours held. A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Second Congregational Church, Jeffersonville with the Reverend Mitch Comstock officiating. Memorial contributions in Rob’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 55 Day Lane, Williston, VT 05495 or the Lamoille Area Cancer Network, P.O. Box 38, Lake Elmore, VT 05657. A. W.
