Toni Anna Stone

Toni A. (Acker) Stone of Fairfax, VT passed away peacefully at home on August 26, 2020. She was born on September 28, 1944 to Antonio and Helen Federico of South Boston Massachusetts. She is survived by her husband Steve Overton, daughter Noelle, grandson Antonio and Brother Michael. She graduated from Gate of Heaven high school, So. Boston, studied Divinity at Unity School of Christianity, Kansas City, MO, and worked at the Boys Club of Boston where she created an integration program called Shared Summer that is still being used today. She started a coaching/consulting business called Wonder Works Studio in 1970. She was a prolific writer and quilter. She has written more than 40 books and made more than 1,000 quilts. She moved to Vermont in 1989 and continued running Wonder Works Studio until she passed. Services will be held at a later time.
