Veronica (Martinez Stern) Bolio, 41, beloved mother, wife, daughter, niece, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, September 29, 2015, at her family’s home in Waterville, Vermont. She was born in Buenos Aries, Argentina, August 31, 1974 to proud parents Olvaldo Martinez and Anna Martinez Stern. Veronica was a selfless, adventurous, devoted wife and mother, whose sense of humor, modesty, and inner-strength inspired everyone who knew her. She had a way of making people feel special and loved, and she strived to take care of and protect others from the pain of her illness up until the very end. Over the years of her life, Veronica explored many different interests and embraced challenge and change with courage and grace. She left Argentina in her early 20’s in pursuits of an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts, and during that time she met the love of her life, Gary Bolio Jr. Her life ever since has been filled with hiking, camping, enjoying nature, gardening, cooking, crafts, sewing, and family and friends, all the while always thinking about and appreciating her Argentina family. Veronica is survived by her dedicated husband Gary Bolio Jr. and their children Chloe and Alexander of Belvidere. She is survived by her loving family of Buenos Aries, Argentina; her mother Anna Martinez, her brother Javier Martinez Stern, wife Maria, and children Benicio and Amber, and her unwavering and supportive aunt Elvira Sterns, who helped provide unconditional love and care for Veronica in the end of her days. She is also survived by her mother-in-law and best friend, Sharon Allaire, who loved and cared for Veronica as if she was one of her own children, and all of her husband’s family; father-in-law Brian Allaire, Kim Bolio and children Gwenn and Erin of Waterville, Benjamin Butler, wife Rebecca, and children Christopher and Sara of Underhill, Andrew Butler, wife Jessica, and children Sienna and Aidan of Underhill, father-in-law Gary Bolio Sr., and children Jacob, Katie, Samuel, and Hannah of Belvidere, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss her dearly. She was predeceased by her father Olvaldo Martinez of Buenos Aries, Argentina in 2014. Veronica will always be remembered for her dimpled smile, her spirited and genuine personality, and her passion and devotion for her family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015, at 1:00pm at United Christian Society, 6653 RT 109, Belvidere Jct., Vermont.
