Anne-Marie Rosella (Villemaire) Bilodeau passed away in the presence of her loving family at Starr Farm Nursing Center in Burlington on Wednesday evening, September 9th. Anne-Marie was born on April 19, 1931 to Delmar L. Villemaire and Marguerite M. (Bourassa) Villemaire. She married Gerald A. Bilodeau on December 28, 1957.

Anne-Marie graduated from St. Francis Xavier School in Winooski and Mt. Saint Mary's Academy in Burlington. She was employed by the Burlington Daily News as a linotype operator, General Electric Co. in Burlington, IBM Corp. in Essex Junction and General Transistor Company in Jamaica, NY.

Anne-Marie is survived by her spouse Gerald, her children and their spouses; Marguerite and Lloyd Goodrow of Essex Junction, Tom and Ruth Bilodeau, of Alexandria, VA, Tim and Deb Bilodeau, of Colchester, Martha and James Allen, of Jericho, Andrew and Betzi Bilodeau, of Essex, and special son-in-law Matt Racine of Colchester. She is also survived by her dearly loved Grandchildren, Daniel Goodrow, Ben, Claire and Elise Bilodeau, Katie Bilodeau and her partner Dale Newton, Mark Bilodeau and his wife Jessica, Laura Bilodeau, Alex, Mikayla and Isaac Racine and Ramona, Gemma and Acadia Bilodeau. She also leaves her great grandchildren Dakota Bilodeau and Mason Bilodeau. She is survived by her brother Dick Villemaire and his wife Lorraine, her sister Teresa Seymour and Brothers and Sisters-in-Law Rita and Albert King, John and Rose Bilodeau, Jeannette Schaefer, George Bilodeau, Dennis and Jeannine Bilodeau, Richard and Diane Bilodeau and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Anne-Marie was predeceased by her parents Delmar and Marguerite Villemaire, her Father and Mother- in-Law Odilon and Germaine Bilodeau and Brothers-in-law Ernest Seymour, Marcel and Larry Bilodeau, Larry Shaefer and Sisters-in-law Donelda Bilodeau, Carolyn Bilodeau, Ellie Bilodeau, and Denise Renaghan. She also leaves behind her very dear former schoolmates and lifelong friends Cecile Plankey, Jacquie Plourde, Pauline Bouchard, Yvette LaBrie and Anita Cote.

At Anne-Marie's wishes, there will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make a donation in her memory may donate to St. Francis Xavier School Development, 5 St. Peter Street, Winooski, VT, 05404 or to Special Olympics Vermont Chittenden Program, c/o Special Olympics Vermont, 16 Gregory Drive, Suite 2, South Burlington, VT, 05403.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 3 St. Peter Street, Winooski with Monsignor Richard G. Lavalley celebrating. Immediately following, interment will take place at the family lot in St Francis Xavier Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Anne-Marie asks to be remembered in your prayers and Masses for the salvation of her soul as she "awaits her place in Heaven and Eternity with God."
