Arlene Marie Mitchell, passed away on Wednesday March 21, 2018 after a long illness. Arlene was born on June 5, 1930 to Daniel and Ethel Patnode. She was married to Ronald Mitchell for 54 years before this death in November 2007. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Arlene leaves four children Diane (Tom) Stech , Sherry (Jim) Chicoine , Teena (Mike) Bohm, and Bill (Lisa) Mitchell, 9 grandchildren Jason Stech, Jake Chicoine and Jessica (Chicoine) Carlin, Jasmine Weaver and John Hyslop, and Melissa, Justin and Ethan Mitchell, 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, sisters and brothers.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful and caring staff at Starr Farm Nursing Center and Bayada Hospice Staff.

The family will receive visitors at LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 132 Main St, Winooski, VT on Sunday March 25 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, with a short service to follow at 10:30 AM.
