Evelyn Frances (St. Pierre) Cameron, 89, passed away Aug. 26, 2015, in Woodbridge, Va. She was born April 12, 1926, the daughter of George and Lena St. Pierre. She married Robert E. "Howard" Cameron on May 24, 1944. She was a housewife and avid sewer for many years. She moved from St. Albans to Essex Junction in 1963. She worked for the House of Sewing in Essex Junction for 25 years. After retiring in 1995, she spent her time crafting and sewing quilts for family members. She leaves two daughters, Sylvia Cameron of Burlington and Doreen Wright and her husband, Brad, of Woodbridge, Va.; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Robert; her twin sister, Carolyn Totten; her sisters, Rose Radzyminski, Florence Lang, Anna Martel, Isabelle Greenwood, Hortense Williams and Gertrude Williams; and three brothers, Clarence St. Pierre, Joseph St. Pierre and Raymond St. Pierre. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 132 Main Street, Winooski. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Essex Junction on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, Winooski.
