MARIE BLANCHE PEPIN - CAPE CORAL, Fla./ COLCHESTER, Vt. - Marie Blanche Pepin, 91, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, in Cape Coral, Fla. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Church Road in Colchester. Family and friends will gather in the narthex of Holy Cross Church beginning at 10 a.m. until the service begins at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Park Cemetery in South Burlington. Arrangements are with the LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 132 Main St., in Winooski. _______________________________________________________________________________________ MARIE BLANCHE PEPIN - CAPE CORAL, Fla./COLCHESTER, Vt. - Marie Blanche Pepin, 91, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, in Cape Coral, Fla. She was born in Burlington, Vt., on May 11, 1923, the daughter of Henry and Laurianna (Gagnon) Trepanier. She attended St. Anthony's School and Burlington High School. On Sept. 6, 1942, in St. Anthony's Church, she married Bernard A. Pepin Sr., who predeceased her on Jan. 29, 2010. Blanche was Manager of Burlington, Vt., Flossie Dress Company of NY. She later worked and retired from Maternities Inc. Blanche is survived by her two children, son, Bernie Pepin and his wife, Marie-Reine, of Colchester, Vt.; and daughter, Ann Cheshire of Cape Coral, Fla.; five grandchildren, Mark Conner of Burlington, Vt., Brett Conner and his wife, Bobby Jo, of Bristol, Vt., Susan McCarthy and her husband, Chris, of Old Lyme, Conn., Lisa Robtoy and her husband, Jay, of Enosburg Falls, Vt., and Michael Pepin and his wife, Rachel, of Los Angeles, Calif.; and six great-grandchildren. Blanche is also survived by two brothers-in-law, Gerald Pepin and his wife, Mary, of Round Rock, Texas, and Richard Pepin and his wife, Sally, of St. Albans, Vt.; and many nieces and nephews. Blanche was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Laurianna Trepanier; two brothers, Paul Trepanier and Walter Trepanier; in-laws, George and Olive Pepin; five brothers-in-law, George Pepin Jr., Paul Pepin, Joe Fondry, Larry Thurber, and Andy Anderson; five sisters-in-law, Connie Fondry Anderson, Norma Thurber, Harriet Trepanier, Mary Ann Pepin, and Delta Trepanier. The Pepin family wishes to express a special thank you to Hope Hospice of Cape Coral, Fla., for their thoughtfulness and kindness to our mother. The funeral and interment for Blanche will occur in the spring. A notice will appear in the Burlington Free Press. Arrangements are with the LaVigne Funeral Home, 132 Main St., Winooski, VT 05404.
