NANCY (DECARREAU) THOMPSON KRUPP - WINOOSKI - Nancy (Decarreau) Thompson Krupp, 80, of Winooski died peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2015, in Green Mountain Nursing Center, in Colchester, following a long illness. Nancy was born in Burlington on Jan. 27, 1935, the daughter of Francis and Florence (Provost) Decarreau. She was a graduate of Winooski High School. Nancy was married on Jan. 14, 1956, to John Thompson, who predeceased her on June 21, 1964. She then was married in April 1972 to Patrick Krupp, who predeceased her on Oct. 1, 2012. Nancy retired after 35 years of employment at IBM. She enjoyed flowers and gardening, wildlife and the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. Nancy is survived by five children, Bruce Thompson and his wife, Kathleen, John Thompson and Carolyn Snyder, Jerry Thompson and his wife, Ruth, Kevin Thompson and his wife, Elizabeth, and Patricia Krupp; nine grandchildren, Brittney, Derek, Michael, Holly, Katelyn, Matthew, Faustine, Timothy, and Benjamin; two great-granddaughters, Grace and Naomi; three sisters, Theresa Gonyon, Barbara Soddy, and Pauline Decarreau; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by seven brothers, Robert, Norman, Omer, Roland, Francis Jr., Clayton "Honey," and Earl "Butch." Visiting hours will be on Saturday, May 23, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with prayer services beginning at 12 noon at the LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 132 Main St., in Winooski.
