Nicholas Jonah Cusson-Ducharme Obituary

Nicholas Cusson-Ducharme, 22 passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016 as a result of an accident.

Nicholas was born in Burlington on August 8, 1994 the son of Tammy Cusson and Dorothy (Dottie) Cusson-Ducharme. He graduated from Winooski High School in 2012 and furthered his education at St. Leo University in Florida. Nicholas was a proud member of Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) as part of the Sigma Theta Chapter. He was one semester shy of graduating with a Bachelors Degree double majoring in Accounting and Business.

Nicholas was a huge sports fan, always routing for the Rams, the Knicks and the Yankees. He was an avid sportsman and athlete in his own right beginning his sports career in Kindergarten playing soccer. He went on to excel in football, basketball and baseball throughout his high school career. He was a really hard worker no matter what job he was doing.

Nicholas leaves behind his mom, his “Dottie”, his sister Tenesha, his brother Charlie and his nephew Asher Jeter. He also leaves behind his Grandparents Reginald and Jeannette Cusson and Elsie Ducharme, his Great Grandmother Catherine Sibley and many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends. Nicholas had very special relationships with his cousins Jason Gerred and Andrea Mason. He leaves behind hundreds of friends and formed some really special relationships with his brothers of TKE, Burke, Joe and Adam, as well as his Florida girl Courtnee Maher, his hometown besties Cody Hemingway and Eric Bushey, and his hometown girl Katie Decarreau.

Nicholas was predeceased by his Uncle Skip, Uncle Charlie, Grampa Ducharme and his cousin Anthony.

Nickk’s presence was a bright light to everyone, his smile beautiful and contagious, his silliness filled many rooms with laughter and his “mirror talks” added to his amazing personality, confidence and ego, just how he liked it!

A viewing will be held at LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service located on 132 Main Street in Winooski on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 PM.
