Peter Parker 56, of Fairfax passed away peacefully on Saturday October 26, 2019 with his family by his side at the University of Vermont Medical Center following a short illness. Peter was born in Burlington September 26, 1963 to Christine (Lucia) Parker and Lawrence “Sonny” Parker both of Burlington. Peter aka Spiderman was an avid hunter and superb fisherman as he spent a great portion of his life fishing the Winooski river alone or with family and friends. This is where the nickname “The legend” was born. When you couldn’t find Peter, he was on the river. Peter was a gentle kind soul and had his way of making anyone around him laugh. Those who knew him were simply blessed. Peter is survived by his son Robert Parker and his children Carson and Bella of Burlington, Daughter Crystal and her children Zoe, Wyatt and Lilly of St. George, His ex-wife who he carried endless love for Louana Tucker of St. George, His brother Emmett Parker of Fairfax who Peter lived with for many years and Emmett’s daughters Misty, Emily, Beth and Amanda. His brother Stanley Parker and Wife Alice of Winooski, Sister Diane of Winooski and her daughter Christy and family of North Ferrisburgh, special nephew, Dwight Parker who he raised. He also leaves behind Several nieces, nephews' aunts, uncles and many dear friends. Peter was predeceased by his Father Lawrence Parker, Mother Christine Parker and his brother Dwight Parker senior brother Larry Parker. Visiting hours will be held Friday November 1, 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Lavigne Funeral Home at 132 Main Street Winooski. Burial services will be private for family and close friends only. Family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the University of Vermont Medical Center in the Medical Intensive Care Unit for all your empathy, compassion and stupendous care for Peter.
