<p>RAYMOND A. VIENS - WINOOSKI - Raymond A. Viens, 90, passed away on Nov. 8, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in St. Albans Bay on Jan. 24, 1924, to Phillippe and Amanda (Loisell) Viens. He worked for McKenzies Packing and the Burlington High School. He married the love of his life, Claire Thibault, on June 3, 1950. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. John the Baptist. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Claire; children, Paulette (Mark) Noyes, Raymond (Jane) Viens, Rose (Brian) Chicoine, Denise (Paul) Provost, Gerald (Sharon) Viens, Richard (Tracy) Viens; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph (Jean) Viens; sisters, Anna Cota, Irene Brosseau, and Sister Bertha Viens; sister-in-law, Therese Viens; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Winooski. Arrangements are under the care of the LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 132 Main St., in Winooski. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.lavignefuneralhome.com.
