Theresa Martin, 73, of Colchester passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 at the Vermont Respite House after battling cancer. Theresa was born February 20, 1942. She was the daughter of Raymond and Lillian Bosley of Colchester. She married Leo Martin at Holy Cross Church in Colchester on September 26, 1959. Theresa graduated from Burlington High School in 1960. She was employed for many years through the phone company and retired from there. Theresa enjoyed fishing, camping, crafts, gardening, Red Sox, NASCAR and going to the casino, what she loved most was her family. Theresa is survived by her daughter, Kelly and husband Tim Porter of Chateaugay, NY, son Brian and wife Norma of Colchester, son Doug of Colchester, grandchildren Brad, Corey, Keith, Marisa, Brianne, and Garrett, Great grandchildren Keaton, Owen, Colin, and Dylan, her 2 sisters Betty Marrier of Richford, VT and Shirley Delisle of Colchester, and brother Thomas and wife Sally of Underhill, VT, many nieces and nephews, 3 sister in laws, Francis, Joan and Marian. Theresa is predeceased by husband Leo Martin, August 1, 1996, parents Raymond and Lillian Bosley, brothers Raymond, Kenneth and Lawrence, and 2 brother in laws, Harvey Marrier and James Delisle. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Brad, Corey, Keith and Garrett. Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00PM at LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Winooski, VT. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, October 23, 2015 11:00AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Colchester, VT.
