Obituary Thomas Jonson, Jr. better know to his family and friend as “Cheetah” or “June” departed from life on Wednesday march 10, 2021 at the age of 74. “Cheetah” was the eldest son of the late Thomas and Alberta Johnson. Cheetah received his education at the Northampton County School System upon completing school Cheetah moved to the state of Delaware wher he lived for many years during his time in Delaware he was employed with Jimmy Truett he than returned home to Virginia where he was employed at Perdue farms and Building Docks, for Fen Mears. Cheetah had many hobbies which included watchin Westerns, playing dominoes, fishing, playing cards. Watchin football and baseball but most of all he loved coming to family gathering and listing to old school music. Cheetah is survived by his girlfriend of 30 years Paulette Sturgis of Melfa, Virginia one daughter Reverend Tesah Miller of Rehoboth Delaware ; three sons, DeArdre Giddens of Godwin, NC, Thomas Williams of Rehoboth, Delaware; one step son, Kevin Sturgis of Trenton, New Jersey,; nine grandchildren; three sisters, Amanda Baines of Parksley, Virginia, Carrie Burton of Hare Valley, Virginia and Louise Walker (Albert); Kathy Harmon whom he treat as a sister, of Painter, Virgain; three brother Roy Johnson(Ann) , Lonnie Johnson and Robert Johnson; on great aunt Gerdine Pinkard; chettah best friend Lou of Delaware and a host of other friend and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Alberta Johnson , his brother Allen “ Dickie” Johnson and brother-in-law. Lovingly Submitted, The Family
