Wilmer Lee

Wilmer Lee, Jr., known to his family as “Junebug,” was the devoted husband of the late Dorothy Mae Kellam-Lee, and son of the late Lillie Ruth Ann Norman and the late Wilmer Lee, Sr. He was born on February 22, 1959 in Norfolk, Virginia. On Sunday morning, September 3, 2017, it was God’s divine plan to end his earthly journey. Junebug attended the public schools of Norfolk, Virginia. He joined Ebenezer Baptist Church in Wardtown, Virginia. Junebug loved his family, and he enjoyed fishing. He was employed at Holly Farms in Temperanceville, Virginia for 32 years until his illness. Junebug leaves to cherish fond memories: 2 sons, Donnell (Tricia) Lee and Wilmer III (Rebekah) Lee; 5 grandchildren, Donnell, Deanna, Donavin, Camden, and Brian; 1 brother, Carvette Lee; aunts, Clemetine and Willie Mae Bell; uncles, Reverend Joseph Jones, William Jones, Clinton, and Wallace Lee; 1 niece, Julia Bordley; 4 nephews, Kevin and Eric Clark, Antonio and Alphonzo Bell; mother-in-law, Corrine Kellam; 6 brothers-in-law, James (Helen) Kellam, Clarence (Johanna) Kellam, Rick (Carrie) Kellam, Edward (Alise) Kellam, Albert Kellam, and Johnny Kellam; 3 sisters-in-law, Irene Kellam, Corrine (Jerry) Collins, and Catherine Giddens, other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Junebug was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Lee; his parents Wilmer Lee, Sr. and Lillie Ruth Ann Norman; 1 aunt Margaret Smith and father-in-law, Mitchell Kellam. 2 Timothy 4:7 7I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
