Keira Keatts Obituary

Dry Fork, Keira Leah Keatts, age 13, of Dry Fork, VA, gained her heavenly wings on February 2, 2020 at SOVAH Health Danville. She was born on July 18, 2006, in Danville, the daughter of James Lee Keatts, III and Andrea Nicole Keatts. In addition to her parents, she is survived by three sisters, Virginia Denise Keatts, Emma Abigail Keatts, and Anabeth Marie Keatts; and a brother, Thomas Winchester Keatts. She is also survived by her grandparents, James and Susan Keatts of Chatham, and Karl and Kathleen Blissenbach of Danville, as well as her great grandmother Fannie Mae Tate of Danville and her great grandparents Eddie and Joanne Marsh of Chatham. Keira was an avid animal lover and enjoyed playing with and carrying around her cats. She loved riding horses, gardening, dancing, wearing makeup and all things pink. For those that knew Keira will remember her abounding love for all living things. She embraced all those that she met, but once embraced, no heart was left unchanged. The funeral services will be conducted at Scott Funeral Home on Friday February 7, 2020 at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Scott Funeral Home on Thursday February 6, 2020 from 7:00pm - 8:00pm and at all other times will be receiving friends and family at the home of Nathalie Keatts at 929 North Fairview Rd. Chatham, Va throughout the week. The family requests that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Durham, NC.
