CHATHAM, We regrettably pass on news of the passing of our mother Nancy Dean Whitley Bradford, age 76 on July 30, 2019 she has gone to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our mother lived her life holding to those beliefs as do we. She was born on January 24, 1943 and is survived by her sons Brian Bradford and his wife Melissa, Randy Bradford and his wife Traci, grandchildren Sarah Law and her husband Kolton, Mallory Bradford and Nathan Bradford, and a sister Fay Brown and her husband Bill. Her parents Odell and Margaret Whitley, brothers Chuck Whitley, Benny Whitley and George Whitley, and sister Ann Mathieson preceded her in death. She retired from Danville Redevelopment and Housing Authority and resided in the Sheva Community of Chatham, Virginia since retiring 15 years ago. Funeral services will be conducted at Scott Funeral Home on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 1:00 pm and the burial will follow at Hillcrest Burial Park. The family receive friends one hour prior to the service.
