Lena Dare Comstock, 86, of Chesapeake VA peacefully entered heaven, Monday, December 11, 2017 at home surrounded by family. She was the loving wife of the late Abram E Comstock. Born July 24, 1931 in Tyrrell County, NC to the late Joe Ab and Minnie Walker Norman. She was the last survivor of eleven siblings. She was a faithful sister to Vernon Norman, Clyde Norman, Bennie Norman, Edward Norman, Stanley Norman, Evelyn Hufton, Aleene Comstock, Catherine Hufton, Ina Spruill and Elizabeth Norman. She is also predeceased by beloved son-in-law Raymond Early. Left to cherish her memory are son Wayne Comstock and wife Carolyn, daughter Rose Early, granddaughters Marcy Comstock and Cheryl Comstock, grandson Jason Early and wife Suzanne, many loving nieces and nephews as well as her church family at South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11:00 am at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake.
