Gary Windsor

Gary Bruce Windsor, 54, of 1013 Staunton Street, Selma died Thursday September 12, 2019 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke. He was born on June 21, 1965 in Staunton, Virginia, a son of the late Elmer and Mamie Campbell Windsor. Gary attended Millboro Christian Church, was a big Elvis fan, and loved the Atlanta Braves. He also enjoyed listening to music and watching movies. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Frank “Peanut” Windsor. He is survived by a sister, Wanda Brandt, of Selma; two brothers, Steven Wayne Windsor and his wife Karen, of Glen Wilton, Eugene Burkey Windsor and his wife Donna Sue, of Covington; and 8 nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes his body will be cremated and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. His family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions in his memory to the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind (VSDB) Foundation, P.O. Box 2069, Staunton, Virginia 24402. Nicely Funeral Home in Clifton Forge is handling the arrangements.
