Julius Bragg

Mr. Julius Crawford Bragg, age 79, of Covington, died April 22nd, 2017, at the Brian Center - Alleghany, Low Moor. He was the husband of Loretta June Bragg. Mr. Bragg was born March, 29th 1938 in West Virginia, the son of the late Julius Homer Bragg and Edith Fox Bragg. Mr. Bragg was employed as a millwright by Westvaco with 54 years of service. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. His major enjoyment in life was buying and selling at the flea markets. Mr. Bragg is survived by his wife, Loretta June Bragg and his daughters, Sherry Craig, Rhonda Plumley, Kristie Bragg and Stacy Cales; nine grandchildren, Travis, Morgan, Cody, Whitney, Steven, Caleb, Erika, Jacob and Delaney; five great grandchildren, Sadie, Sylas, Julian, Eli and Aavery; and one sister, Toby Ann Gilkeson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Bragg. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Alleghany Memorial Park with the Reverend Donnie Bowker officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 11:30 A.M. until time of service at Loving Funeral Home. Those wishing to attend should assemble at Loving Funeral Home by 12:15 P.M.
