Marcia Tingler-Oliver Ms. Marcia Antoinette Tingler-Oliver 46, of Clifton Forge passed away Friday June 30, 2017 at Lewis –Gale Alleghany. Marcia was born December 30, 1970 in Covington, a daughter of the late George Lewis Tingler and Wendy Grant Smith. Marcia was employed by the Rockbridge- Lexington Health Department and the Serenity Salon. She graduated from Alleghany County High School, Dabney S. Lancaster Community College and Liberty University. She was an LPN, MSN, RN, CBC, and PHN. She was of the Presbyterian Faith She is survived by children Blake and Blayne Oliver and grandson Isaac James Oliver, children Linden and Lexy Wills, two sisters Georgette Helton and Tammy Carter, stepfather, Eric Lee, Blake and Blaynes dad, Billy Oliver, grandparents Jim and Connie Oliver, Billy Todd Wills, father of Linden, and Lexy Wills, grandparents, Mike and Jan Wills. Special friend to family Patrick Cahoon and number of nieces and nephews. Marcia loved her family with all of her heart and soul. She loved being with children and doing everything humanly possible so they could be happy and loving children. They were the love of her life. Marcia excelled in everything she endeavored to accomplish. She was outgoing and loved by all of her friends. Her compassion for life was such a big part of Marcia. She always made people feel better when she walked into a room. She worked hard to make all things possible. A funeral service will be held Monday 11:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robin Bertram officiating assisted by Rev. Jim Slate. INTERMENT WILL FOLLOW AT A LATER DATE in Alleghany Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be John Lawson, George Taylor, Jonathon Mayo, Joe Craft, Chad Bennett and Andrew Moore. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Loving Funeral Home . The family suggest that memorial tributes take the form of donations to Marcia Tingler-Oliver fund to help with educational purposes later in life for Linden, and Lexy Wills, and Isaac Oliver at Highlands Community Bank at 307 Thacker Ave. Covington Va. 24426 Arrangements are being handled by Loving Funeral Home; www.Loving Funeral Home 1913.com
