Angela Lee (Lane) Summey – Duffield, VA Angela Lee (Lane) Summey, 57, Duffield, VA passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN due to short illness. Angela was born in Sullivan County, TN on November 26, 1959 to Lucy Ann Lane and the late Everette Waylon Lane. Angela is preceded in death by her father, Everette Waylon Lane. Angela is survived by her husband, Ronnie Allen Summey, Duffield, VA; her mother, Lucy Ann Lane, Duffield, VA; son, Steve Allen Summey and wife, Christie, Duffield, VA; granddaughter, Caitlin Brooke Summey, Duffield, VA; sister, Lisa Ann Russell, Duffield, VA; brother, Everette Waylon Lane, Jr. and wife, Sherry, Gate City, VA; nieces and nephew, Hannah and Phebe Lane, Gate City, VA and Brandon Darnell and wife, Marlena, Weber City, VA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley and Pastor Denny Hass officiating. Working Toward the Promise will provide music. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Lane Cemetery, Kingdom Community of Duffield, VA. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. to go in procession to the graveside service.
