Ida Faye Ball – Gate City, VA Ida Faye Ball, 90, Gate City, VA passed away, Friday, April 17, 2020 at Brookdale Senior Living, Kingsport, TN. Mrs. Ball was born in Scott County, VA on February 7, 1930, and was the daughter of the late Homer Jackson and Lillie Leora (Fields) Eads. In addition to her parents, her husband, Delmar O’Ferrol “Bud” Ball; daughter, Linda Diana Zutovsky; sister, Betty Jean Begley; and brothers, Ray A. Eads, Glen Jackson Eads, and Ronald Eads preceded her in death. Surviving is her daughter, Katherine D. Sindelar and husband, Alan, Niles, IL; son, Jerry Patrick Ball and wife, Nancy, Weber City, VA; grandchildren, Mary Faye Sindelar, Joe Van Meenan, Jay Van Meenan, Ronald Bristow, Ryan Bristow, Sean Ball, Tanya Curtsinger, and Meaghan Creasy; great grandchildren, Elijah Zane Curtsinger, Kullen Creasy, Kastor Creasy, and Cody Beasley; and brother, Bobby Eads; along with several nieces and nephews. Graveside services only will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 20, 2020 at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:45 p.m. for the graveside service. An online guest register is available for the Ball family at www.gatecityfunerals.com.
