Earnesteen Hart Honaker, age 78, of Boyds, Maryland passed away Sunday (October 1, 2017) at Kline Hospice House in Mount Airy, Maryland. Born October 24, 1938 in Cleveland, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Margaret Duty Hart. She was a member of Knights of Pythias and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She also enjoyed using her iPad to catch up with friends on Facebook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Ambrose Honaker and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Jeff Holmes of Monrovia, Maryland; two granddaughters, Brittanee Kautz and husband, Bill of Boyds, Maryland and Brooke Holmes of Monrovia, Maryland; one great-granddaughter, Kinley Kautz of Boyds, Maryland and one expected grandson, Carter Kautz; two sisters, Irene Yates and husband, Howard of Thompson Creek, Virginia and Virginia Honaker and husband, Arch of Finney, Virginia; two brothers, Ronnie Hart and wife, Sandy of Cleveland, Virginia and Ed Hart and wife, Audrey of Finney, Virginia; special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charlie and Jean Honaker of Brookville, Maryland and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Wednesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Matt Jessee officiating. Interment will follow in the Ketron Memorial Gardens in Lebanon, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Jeff Holmes, Jerry Yates, Scottie Yates, Gary Yates, Ricky Honaker and Harvey Hart. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the funeral hour.
